The city’s Easter Eggstravaganza (2026 details)

City of Madison Parks and Recreation’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza has egg hunts, inflatables and a visit from the Easter Bunny. In 2026 it was held Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Dublin Park, 8324 Old Madison Pike, according to the city’s Special Events page:

• Ages 1 to 5: hunt at 9 a.m. on Soccer Field 1
• Ages 6 to 10: hunt at 10:30 a.m. on Soccer Field 1
• Parking: a free shuttle ran from Bob Jones High School; only handicap parking was allowed at Dublin Park
• Bring: your own basket

Special Needs Easter Eggstravaganza (2026 details)

The city also holds an adaptive, sensory-friendly egg hunt. In 2026 it ran from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on March 28 at the Madison Community Center, 1329 Browns Ferry Road, with the hunt at 3 p.m., sensory-friendly games and a visit from the Easter Bunny, the city says. Call 256-774-8336.

Church services

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1055 Hughes Road, celebrates Sunday Mass at 7, 8:30 and 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., with a Saturday vigil at 5:30 p.m., and streams Mass online, according to its website. Holy Week and Easter times may differ from the regular schedule; call the parish at 256-722-0130 or check its site in March.
